Driving

A car starts outside my window
I wonder where they're going
This late at night
Is it a nervous father
And an expecting mother
Whose water broke
In the middle of a fight

Maybe a teenage boy
Getting out 'cause he
Can't stand to be
Just can't take it anymore

Or maybe it's a girl like me
Wondering
What it's like
To be free

*Nothing more in this life
I'd rather be doing
Than driving
At night

All the
Freedom of
Flying
There's nothing I'd rather be doing
Than driving_

Pedal down, to the floor
Can't hear you talking anymore
The world is lit by
Stars and streetlights
Baby, I fly

Maybe I'm a bit naive
But I can't stop wondering
What it's like
To be free

*Nothing more in this life
I'd rather be doing
Than driving
At night

All the
Freedom of
Flying
There's nothing I'd rather be doing
Than driving
Driving
Driving_

Let me take the steering wheel
Let me know how it feels

*Nothing more in this life
I'd rather be doing
Than driving
At night

All the
Freedom of
Flying
There's nothing I'd rather be doing
Than driving
Nothing I'd rather be doing
Than driving

All the
Freedom of
Flying
There's nothing I'd rather be doing
Nothing I'd rather be doing
Nothing I'd rather be doing
Than driving
